8-Week Membership Class
Our membership class will give you a clear plan to introduce your kids to the right technology at the right time, a home with digital walls that protect your family, and the tools to build a community of like-minded families.
Included with this class:
- 9 Videos - 1 Intro + 8 Classes, which we refer to as our Club "Meetings" (Expect 28 minutes average watch time per week.)
- Handbook (Printable PDF ~50 pages that includes action items and exercises, helpful definitions, and more. We recommend you keep it in a 3-ring binder that you can add to in the future.)
- 4 Stickers (Shipped to you upon completion of all 8 weeks. We call these stickers "badges." Each badge represents a different focus - leading by example as parents, protecting the home, giving kids independence, and building community.)
- Lifetime access to monthly member meetings and weekly newsletters to keep you informed, encouraged, and connected!
Videos & Handbook are available immediately upon purchase of the membership class. You'll receive an email with a link to access your digital content within your account profile at socialrejects.org.
Watch 1 meeting each week for 8 weeks. Between meetings, you'll have a "club project" to complete. We call these club projects to avoid the word homework because that sounds lame. Club projects help you put the focus of the meeting into practice right away.
Our members say it's a good idea to take the class with your spouse, and it's even better when you take it with at least one other family in your community.

FAQ
Who is the class intended for?
Our membership class is for parents in every stage of raising kids. We’ve had mom/dad join together, only mom, only dad, single moms, and parents in blended families.
We’ve had groups of moms whose kids all go to school together, and adult siblings whose kids are growing up spending lots of time with their cousins.
We’ve had parents of toddlers, teenagers, preschoolers and preteens. The class is relevant no matter the ages of your kids!
What's the best way to do this in a group?
If you're local, get together in person for each meeting. Host meetings at someone's house, at your church, or at your kids' school. Have people sign up for a week to bring snacks. Have one person in charge of sending a reminder the day before meetings.
Plan to meet for an hour and a half. Start with discussion about how the previous week's club project went for everyone. This is a great way to have accountability to take action. Then stream the meeting for the week. Each meeting video is 28 minutes on average. Spend the rest of the time discussing what you watched and what you plan to do that week.
Each family unit should purchase their membership class separately and have direct access to all the content from their account. Please do not purchase the class 1 time and share account access with multiple families.
How should I structure my time in the class?
Each meeting is divided into teaching and then introducing a new club project. Each week builds upon the last, so it's important to watch them in order. Club projects are meant to be completed before the next meeting.
Is this class faith-based?
Yes. We believe the challenges we are having with technology bring about amazing opportunities to point people to Jesus. Our content is rooted in scripture, with reminders from the Word of who made us and what we were made for.
How do I access the videos and handbook?
After you purchase the class, you'll get an email with the subject line, "Your Social Rejects Content" with a button that says, "Access Content." Clicking that button will open the Social Rejects website. Once logged in, you'll see a button that says "Access Digital Content." Click it and you'll see all 9 videos along with the PDF handbook.
Will I be connected to other members online?
After completing the class, you will officially be a member of the Social Rejects Club! This gets you access to exclusive online live events like monthly member meetings, where we discuss current events and issues related to kids and tech. You'll also receive a weekly newsletter with information and encouragement.
We will not put you into an online chat space with other members. We don't want to give you another place online to be distracted and pseudo-connected. The best way to engage with people on a daily basis about kids & tech is to invite your local friends to take the class with you so you can continue the discussion with them once the class is over.
